WAY BIG!
I read the note! I also read the reviews where people said not to go with a size bigger. I normally wear a size 6, so I bought a size 6. I put them on and I almost fell on my arse, because I stepped right out of them. I hate buying a size 5! I mean that seems like they will be too tight then. Yet a 5.5 I can't see being enough of a difference. It was like walking in my Mom's shoes as a child.

Need to exchange these cute shoes.
I heeded the advice on these shoes and ordered smaller than I normally would. They are tight. I would not suggest ordering a whole size smaller. They are adorable and a great way to get a little height without being unstable. Plan to teach in these in a few weeks!

Beautiful shoe! Love the patent purple and the 3 1/2" heel with about a 3/4" platform makes it seem like it will be relatively comfortable. I don't think I'd agree with Zappos recommendation to buy a size smaller. I normally buy a 9, sometimes a 9 1/2 for a pointy toe shoe. I got this in an 8 1/2 and a 9. I could put on the 9, but there was major toe squishing. I think I'm going to try a 9 1/2 to see if it gives me a little more room for my toes. My feet are a little wide and square, so some shoes just won't work. I'm hoping this one will because I love the look!

 |  | I just wanted to commend you on the excellent service. A friend had referred me to your website when I had a hard time finding Vans for my daughter. I placed my order and was impressed that my order came the next day. I thought I was just lucky to receive my order so quickly, but it happened again with my next order. My daughter needed shoes for a party this weekend, so I placed my order last night after 9pm PST hoping they would arrive in a couple of days by Friday, but I received the shoes this afternoon (19 hours later). I order a lot of merchandise on-line and have never had a company deliver their products so quickly and at no additional cost to the customer! I'm telling all my friends about Zappos.com. Your company is amazing and I won't even bother looking at other websites for shoes. By the way, the shoes are great, but I just felt compelled to e-mail and thank you for the speedy delivery... you've got a customer for life... mainly because of the quick delivery service.
