Decided on this sandal because of the unique look. Turns out in person, it is even cooler. They did a great job of simulating the sushi and rice layers. Even better, these sandals are really comfortable and seem to keep my feet cool. The strap is sized just right so they are not too loose or too tight. Watch the sizing though. I am normally between a 9 and a 10, but needed a size 11 for these.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Other Reefs, but go smaller on the sizing

I love these flip flops. I'm thinking about getting a back up pair in case these get trashed. They're very comfortable. They were a touch tight at first but seem to be perfect now. Going up a size would be a mistake.

Ordered a 13 and was way too small. Ended up selling them to a friend who wears an 11 and he loves them!

Always a Reef fan. these are definitely a cool looking flip flop. Like the bamboo style footbed and the Koi image on the heel. Definitely recommend.

Cool feet -
My girlfriend is from Hawaii. While there recently she told me about slippers that had tatami(sp?...8yrs of jujitsu you think I'd know how to spell it) weave for the part of the slipper that touches your foot. She said some slippers are made like this because the weave unlike rubber or leather will not get hot in the sun when you leave them out it in the sun at the beach. Funny thing is she's right. The only problem is that it's hard to find men's slippers like this. Usually it's only women's slippers that are made with the weave.
I would have bought the other model that reef makes with the weave sole, but I already had brown pair of slippers. The look of the Sushi is kinda "different" but I like it. It was worth the money.
