Finally, socks that fit well -
I almost didn't purchase these because of the price. But after years of forcing my size 15's into socks that are made to fit 9-13, I decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did. These are well padded and very comfortable. If I could find this same sock that wasn't "two toned" I would be set for life.

Poor stitching, coming apart -
Just a quick note on these, I ordered a multi pack and have worn the red pair about 3-4 times. After three-four washings the stitching is coming out and today one of the sides tore totally out revealing the inside white mesh sock. I am not impressed. These, at this price should NOT have started to fall apart this fast, and as you can see I have had them less then a month, even if I wore them every day they should not fall apart like this. I only wore them 3-4 times and they are coming apart at the seams. Not good.

Okay, but not the best -
I am not wild about these. I ordered them in the size large, as I wear a size 11W women's shoe. They are a little big, with excess fabric at the heel. By the end of the day, my feet feel damp and sweaty in these, something I have never experienced in any sock before (especially considering that it's wintertime). They are slippery on bare floors, so they can be dangerous. I do not like the blue seam across the toes on a black sock- why didn't they use black thread? I would not buy these again, especially at this high price. I will say that I am extremely pleased with Zappos itself- I placed my order on a Friday, and I had my socks on Monday, and I did not use expedited shipping.

I thought that getting a liner for water-proof boots was a great idea but a thick sock would do just as well , if not better. The liners are over sized and bulky to wear inside a rubber boot. Wearing a knee-high, thick sock would be more comfortable, not to mention the cost of $30 bucks for ONE pair. I absolutely LOVE ZAPPOS this item was just not a winner. They were delivered quickly and I would definitely use Zappos again.

Never wore wool socks before -
I have never owned wool socks before. But I was looking for warmth and heard good things about this brand. Took a chance, paid a lot of money for three pairs of socks. When I received them it was the end of the day, my feet were cold, slightly wet and looking for slippers. I had heard wool works as a wick for moisture, and warmth in cold weather, cool in hot. As soon as I had them on, they dried my feet, and provided warmth. I have worn them as slippers the rest of the night. I am very impressed with these socks and will pay the money for them. I plan to order more, and then later the summer styles.

These socks fit perfectly in the boots and look great, they just are not quite warm enough for Chicago winters. Great for a cold rainy day, but I wish I would have bought real snow boots!

Disappointed -
I absolutely love EuroSock's Snowdrop and Snowride socks, but this style was disappointing. The large size was way too tight on my leg and there's an uncomfortable toe seam. Can't recommend this sock for anyone needing a large size.

Oh, Sweet Mystery of Socks -
...at last I've found you! For years I have searched for a perfect winter sock that fits my large-ish, very sensitive feet. This sock is soft, stylish, and fits amazingly well without binding, bunching, or falling down. Eureka!

When the socks arrived, they appeared to be small but after trying them on I was impressed by comfortable they were. I wore the socks a few days later during a cold snap and my feet stayed dry and comfortable.

The sizes run really weird. I first received a Large because that was what the size guide told me to get because I'm an 8/8.5 they were HUGE when I got them and looked ridiculous. So I ordered another pair in a Medium... and those are still a little too small. I need them so I don't plan on returning them, but they are super soft.

All the years I have worn cowboy boots I could never find socks that I was 100% satisfied until I bought Thorlo's western dress socks. If you have boots that are a little large and loose these are definitely the socks to buy. If your boots fit perfect then I would suggest getting regular boot socks, otherwise you will not go wrong with these, and they are worth the money.
