Amazing shoes. Very little support, which I think is better for foot health in almost all circumstances. Lots of people will disagree with me though. What you can't disagree with is the amazing styling. Definitely the most casual, low-riding sneakers I've had. I feel so cool downtown =D

I looove these shoes, and I love the fact that not many people wear them. They feel true to size, are really comfortable and look great. I have the gray ones. Zappos is the best!

It's just about the looks -
These shoes look really slick. They go with just about everything and that red flare lets it get noticed. If you find Puma's trendy shoes comfortable, then you'll be content with these shoes from Gola. If you want comfort, buy the New Balance 992's, or Clarks...brands that exceed in comfort. The Gola's are a fashion statement. Consider buying inserts if you'll be walking in them a lot. The shoes have no cushioning, no shock absorption, so after a long day your first action when getting home will be to tear the shoes off your feet. Also, if your feet are standard width, the toe will be snug on the side (no half-sizes)...wide feet stay away from these shoes, you'll develop bunions with excessive wear!

Great look, really comfortable -
This shoe looks better than the pictures; it definitely gets a lot of compliments. I read some of the other reviews and was a little shaky because the shoe is apparently not that comfortable. I personally thought they were extremely comfortable (and I live in DC so I walk everywhere). This was a great purchase!

Pretty shoe, but really bad quality -
I really liked the look of this shoe, but after wearing it only 5 times, the sole started to separate from the footbed. And now the stitching is coming out, I've seriously only worn these about 10 times. I've had a pair of Tigers that I like much more, similar style and have had them forever. Better build quality.

I love this shoe!
So much, in fact, I've just bought two additional pairs to give me more color options. I have to make a conscious effort to not wear them everyday. It's extremely lightweight and very comfortable, and it looks great - I've worn them with jeans and slacks and gotten compliments every time. I wear size 11, and this 11 fits perfectly. So be wary of those who say they are a size smaller then marked... I disagree. They are suede, so you have to be careful not to mess them up. I've had them 5 months and they are holding up great. Still look brand new!

They are small and lightweight and very comfortable. If you're looking for as little shoe as possible (thin sole, etc) this is great. I had to return the first pair though; they were large for the size. Get a full size below normal.

I love these shoes, but they are indeed sized smaller than marked. I originally ordered an 11 which is what I normally wear, but returned them for a 12 and they fit fine - a little roomy in the toe but nothing too bad. Have gotten several compliments on them (the black and gray). I'm thinking about ordering another pair to have for when these wear out I like the look so much. Once again, Zappos rules.

My new Favorite shoe!
I had never heard of Gola before I purchased a pair of them a year or so ago. Fell in love with their light weight and overall look! I recently purchased three (3) pair of the Chase in Black, Brown and Blue. I ordered all the shoes in size 10 and standard width. However, all three (3) pair fit differently. The Black are a perfect fit, the brown are a little longer than the black and the blue is, by far, the smallest of the 3 (even a little tight width-wise). Not horribly, uncomfortably so, but I thought it odd that the same shoe in different colors had different fits.

Love them - I've bought Gola shoes before so I was very excited to replace my old pair (which I had for 4 years!). The shoes are super comfortable, pretty narrow, which is good for me, even though I have a size 10. They’re true to size and very stylish.

Perfect, but order down! These are so perfect and comfortable! They're just what I was looking for - a sleek black sneaker to go with the other half of my wardrobe! Casual, yet classy, they're really not clunky, and I love the thin-ish sole (not a fan of big rubbery soles). Well-priced and cute. The only complaint is that they only come in full sizes...and they run big. I'm usually an 8 1/2, but following other reviewers' suggestions I went down, and the 8s I have are still probably a half size big (I only worried about that 'cause they're suede and I'm not sure how much (or if) they'll stretch...we'll see!).

Great looking shoe! The padding is sparse and minimalist and the support is average and basic but I didn’t buy this shoe for stability or sports, I got it for the wowee factor which it does just fine...I’m a 10.5'' and the size 10 was more than fine for me...I’d definitely buy another Gola..And soon!

These shoes look great and feel great. They're light, flexible, and (so far) they hold up well. The soles are very thin, and there is virtually no side or arch support, but I've been comfortable walking all day in them.

Cute but dysfunctional - I wore a hole in the sole of these shoes in two weeks! They're leather, but they're super thin, so they aren't made for walking. They are cute and comfortable, but they are not functional.

Poor construction -
These seemed a bit flimsy when they arrived, and after wearing them only a few times the stitching is coming apart on one of them. The way the suede is stitched to the nylon allows it to unravel very easily. For the price I would expect them to stay in one piece for longer than 5 wears. Very disappointing since they look really nice.

Colorful Comfort -
The shoe itself is light with minimal support. I haven't had a chance to see how they hold up to water, but the nylon upper will probably prove to be permeable. Regardless, the colors are classic and one of a kind and the comfort is exactly what you would expect... decent.

Cute and sporty, but not the most comfortable.
These are very cute and sporty. I thought they were going to be great, but the back heel was not very comfortable. It rubbed slightly and I knew after a few hours of wear that I would for sure have a blister. Disappointed but had to return.

First understand that this is a sport/bouldering shoe, not a big wall or multi pitch shoe. Having said that, the rubber is not as sticky as the 5.10 stealth rubber but the heel on this shoe is a "magician", it fits like a glove. By far the best fitting heel of any shoe on the market!!!!! However, the durability of the leather is lacking. I have never worn out a pair of shoes due to the leather wearing out before the rubber wears out but these have. The toe lacks rubber and under hard flagging on overhung routes these just do not hold up. BUT THE HEEL IS SICK!

Love these shoes! I bought these shoes for a trip to NY where I planned to do a lot of walking. I usually have a hard time with sneakers because even if the soles are comfortable, the area by the heel isn't and it rubs my heel raw when trying to "break in" the shoes. I was happy to see that there was no breaking in necessary. They are so soft and comfortable! I agree with the other reviews that there's not really any arch support, but I just bought some cheap insoles and now they are perfect! Also, I think they added a scotch guard of some sort because I accidentally got some water on them, but as soon as they dried the spot disappeared. Very happy with these shoes!

 |  | I just saw you all on the Oprah Winfrey show and I had to write right away and tell you how wonderful you promote good customer service! I owned a hair salon for 20 years and the girls I worked with and also our clients to this day are like one huge extended family. Before computers I owned a typewriter (electric!) and whenever I received poor customer service I would get out the old typewriter and start tapping away. All the girls would say, “Uh-oh! Look out! Michelle has the typewriter out!” I expected to be treated like I treated my clients when I was patronizing a store. Of course, our standards were hard to beat, but we enjoyed our jobs and you can always tell if someone likes what they are doing. My congratulations to all of you and I envy you your jobs!
